Subject –
Strange compositions exploring an unlikely combination of visual elements, create alternate visions of the world. Intense and jewel like in their clarity, these precise images explore the border lands of dream and reality.
Technique –
These images are collaged assemblages of images from a wide range of original sources. Photographs by the artist, clippings from vintage books, magazines and films are carefully hand cut and assembled and scanned using an Epson Pro Scanner. Using an electronic pen tool, via a Wacom graphics tablet connected to an Apple Mac, collaged elements are seamlessly assembled into unified images.
