HOW WE MAKE OUR PRINTS
Images are individually UV printed, using a Mimaki flatbed printer on to Canford 300 gsm heavy art paper. UV printing uses ultra violet light to cure ink as it is printed. As the printer distributes ink on the surface of the art paper,UV lights follow close behind, curing and drying the ink instantly. The dots of wet ink do not have time to spread out, resulting in much finer detail than other systems. UV cured inks are fade and wear resistant.
The system is environmentally friendly as it produces few VOC’s, odour and heat. This offers a strongly coloured, hard wearing archival print.
Each print is individually quality controlled and signed in pencil by the artist.
Our prints are available in A2 (420 x 594mm ) and A1 ( 594 x 841mm) sizes, unframed. We also offer framed prints in a glazed, high quality, elegant satin black frame with a visible light woodgrain. Frame moulding dimensions are 35mm wide by 25mm deep.
Because of the standard print sizes, off the shelf frames purchased elsewhere are also easily available for home framing.
